Wired Devices
CSIR users may register their wired devices using this portal by simply providing their Groupwise network credentials.
This process will register the device against their CSIR username and place it in the correct vlan for full access to the CSIR network. The device will remain registered for 90 days from last connection.
Open a web browser, ensure that the proxy server is disabled and proceed to open a website to generate external internet traffic ie. http://www.google.com (https:// sites will not work reliably)
This will open the Captiveportal which will allow you to register your devices and provide authorization to use CSIR network resources.
You will receive this page during the access activation stage.
If the page give and error, please open a web browser and open any external website to check your access - you should have received a 146.64.x.x ip address.
